Thank You for Reading My Blog – Here’s what’s new!

For those of you who faithfully visit Aspire’s blog – I want to say thank you. Thank you for your trust. I do not take that lightly.

I also want to quickly update you on the latest project that we’ll be launching soon – a leadership podcast I will host.

Today I celebrate seven months of blogging! It has not been easy, but it has been very rewarding.  I see a few of you on a regular basis, and I hear stories of how in little ways a blog encouraged you or made you think.

So as part of my extended family, I want you to be the first to know about the new leadership podcast that is coming soon. The podcast will be called Aspire To Lead, and will begin by introducing the Head and Heart Leader: an insight into how successful leaders excel only when they use their head and their heart.  I know you will enjoy this topic and find it beneficial to your leadership journey.

Don’t worry, if you don’t know what a podcast is or how to subscribe to it – I recently found that out myself – and I will walk you through it. I began listening to podcasts recently, and I love it!

Here is one main reason. There is only so much time one can dedicate to reading per week (I aim for 30 mins per day). If you want to learn while you are driving, jogging, or cooking, you can download your favorite podcast and listen.

Better yet, you can subscribe to it, either on iTunes in the iTunes store, or by downloading a podcast listening app – the one I use is called Downcast. When you subscribe, new episodes automatically download when you open iTunes or Downcast.

Anyway, I just wanted to stop and thank you for giving me some of your time every week, and for being an important part of this community of people who want to make a positive difference by practicing excellence in leadership. I am honored.

I truly believe that better leadership is the answer to this world’s problems – when men and women traverse great personal journeys and then stop, turn back, and decide to take others with them.

That is leadership!

We are only on the beginning of this journey together. Thank you for coming with me!

I promise to always give you my best!

The Right Balance Between Home and Work

Successful leaders often have one problem: success at work and failure at home. Maybe failure is too strong of a word for you. Maybe your statement is: “success at work, no success at home.” You evaluate and decide.   The prototypical
