One Year Anniversary!

I posted Aspire’s first leadership blog on September 9th, 2012. One year later, I am as passionate about leadership as ever!

Will you allow me into your email or RSS feed for another year?

Thank You

There are a few people I would like to publicly thank. Without them, this blog may not have started—or still be going!

  • Rev Peter Rahmemy friend and mentor who has always encouraged me to keep writing. Thank you, Peter!
  • Danya Pedenwho started it all by simply creating my very first blog site and sending me a message that I am going to start blogging. Thank you, Danya!
  • Jen Voileswho told me one day, “start writing.” (And I did!) She has also skillfully maintained the site. Thank you, Jen!
  • Andria Bicknellwho has improved each post and also written several beautiful blog posts. Thank you, Andria!
  • Amanda Scottwho has written several wonderful and informative leadership book review blog posts. Thank you, Amanda!
  • To all of you who have read, commented, and sent me personal emails. Thank you to Jamie Adams for the passionate comments, Jeff Curtis for the wonderful insights, Kathy Ryan for the great additions, and to Misty Gilbert who has read every single blog and commented on most of them (all within one week).
  • To the many others who left a thought or a note whom I did not mention by name.
  • To those of you who read this blog whom I have not heard from…thank you!

Next Year

So what are my plans for the coming year?

  • Interview more authors on the Aspire To Lead podcast.
  • Place the best leadership blogs in an inspiring book that will be released soon.
  • Include more history and biography blogs that shine a light on leadership.
  • Share with you the books I am reading.
  • Publish a new book about Head and Heart Leadership.

I Need Your Help (Win a FREE Book)

Before I finalize my plans and hit the gas pedal, I would really love to hear from YOU!  If you read our leadership blog (often or occasionally), drop me a comment or an email and let me know how you believe this blog can be more effective.

The first 20 people to comment will receive a free copy of my book that will include the best blogs from last year.

Call To Action!

Friend, I want you to succeed! I want you to be a world-changing leader! I want you to dream bigger, reach higher, and bravely forge forward.

ONWARD!

With fire in your belly, passion in your soul, and with the guidance of God, boldly take your word further than it has ever gone before. And on this journey, I hope I can help a little along the way.

I look forward to another year of getting to know you and growing together to be more of who God wants us to be.

Your friend,

    Dr. Saade,

Yes, you are allowed into my email for another year!!! I absolutely look forward to reading and hearing the content of your blog and podcasts over the next year! You have done remarkably well in one year and I know the next one will be even better yet.

I was surprised that you mentioned me on the blog, but you are correct, I did read every post and commented on several even if you have disclosed my secret – LOL! I thoroughly enjoyed catching up on your blog and going back to the beginning of it after meeting you in June 2013 when you spoke at the AAPC. I follow several blogs on various topics and yours is one I enjoy reading and can’t wait for the emails to arrive in my inbox each week!

You have some serious aspirations for the next year and I would like to try to help you meet them. I want to reach out to some of my connections and people I know who could be guest post writers and who are authors that you could interview. You have a passion for people and that is admirable, you are a leader at heart and it shows. I want to see you succeed and will do everything I can to encourage you on this journey! I find it encouraging to share with others and learn from them…and I know you do too.

As an avid book reader myself, I can’t wait to read your book on Head and Heart Leadership! Keep us posted and share with us as you make progress to get to this published.

Keep up the good work! You are an inspiration to many to aspire to lead and we appreciate you.

    Misty

I look forward to getting to know some the people who you recommend so all of us together can take the message of servant leadership forward to our world. Thanks for all you do to help, inspire and lead!! 🙂

    Congratulations Wes!

This is a HUGE achievement. You have been sharing your wisdom and passion with us consistently for a year through this wonderful blog. I so appreciate your insights and the vulnerability you have shown by sharing your journey with us. It takes a lot of courage to open yourself to the world on the internet and you have done it with honesty and love. Count me in for a copy of your book when it is published!

Here’s to another great year of inspired posts and to your continued success!

    Kathy

    Dr. W

God has great plans for you. “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9. He has raised you for such a time like this to help others discover their potential. God bless you
